Our Door Is Open
New Patients Welcome!
We pride ourselves on the high quality of service and care we provide. There’s no better sign that we are serving you well than the number of new patients who walk through the door. Referrals and word of mouth are our numberone source of new patients. When you give us a good reference, we won’t let you down! A vibrant patient base helps our practice grow and expand so that we can continue to offer the very best in dental treatment.
So, if you’re wondering
whether or not we accept new
patients – the answer is YES.
Not only do we accept them, we
encourage them. There’s no higher
compliment for us than to be
given the privilege of meeting and
serving the needs of a new patient.
Yours in good dental health,

Choose the image you want to project
The silver ceiling has become part of the modern lexicon. The phrase was coined to express the attitudes and prejudices that create barriers for mature workers. Now, an increasing number of men are recognizing the value of a great smile and more youthful appearance in the workplace. Along with women, they are requesting cosmetic dental treatments like whitening and veneers.
Consider this: in a nationwide survey of career placement professionals, a whopping 94% agreed that image and appearance are critical in the workplace. In the same survey, they acknowledged that: looking younger gives a competitive career advantage; appearance impacts salary, and looking younger is important for career advancement and promotion. Modern dentistry can help raise your silver ceiling by dramatically improving your appearance without surgery. Many of the techniques used to disguise smile flaws like mild to severe stains, chips, spaces, and fractures can be done in the dental office as part of your regular recall appointment.
First impressions are made within thirty seconds, and people can make as many as ten value judgments about you during this time. Whether you are a mature professional or just savvy enough to anticipate the future, dentistry can help you to communicate your drive for success.
Rejuvenate your smile
Make no mistake – crowns do rejuvenate smiles. Although the primary purpose of a dental crown is to protect and strengthen teeth, you’ll love your improved great looks too! Crowns are an attractive time-tested option for teeth that have been severely damaged or weakened by trauma, root canal treatment, or too much fi lling. They can also support bridges that fi ll gaps and be attached to dental implants to rebuild and enhance your smile. Crowns have come such a long way from the all-metal originals, through porcelain fused to metal, and fi nally to all-ceramic or all-porcelain. Today, replacing outdated crowns is a surefi re way to take years off your appearance.
Type Of Crown: All-Metal
Benefits: Often made of gold (which is strong and long-lasting and will
not wear down opposing teeth), they can also be made of less expensive
metals or a mix of gold and alloy.
Type Of Crown:
Porcelain Fused to Metal
Benefits: Porcelain
creates a more natural
look than all-metal
crowns, and though the
metal limits translucency,
it adds strength, which is
particularly useful at the
back of the mouth.
Type Of Crown:
All-Ceramic or All-Porcelain
Benefits: Translucent porcelain
with opalescence looks the closest to
natural teeth enamel, will not wear down
opposing teeth, and there are no tell-tale
dark metal margins at the gumline as
sometimes occurs with porcelain fused
to metal. These crowns are strong, longlasting,
and youthful looking.
Transcend trans fats!
You know, without fat in your diet, your skin could become dry and flaky, and you could experience hair loss. Your oral health could also suffer from lowered resistance to infection and diminished ability to heal. But too much fat also creates health problems. In particular, trans fats have been receiving a lot of bad press lately.
Trans fats contribute to heart disease and are linked to inflammation which can damage body tissues including your gums, increase the risk of other chronic diseases, and accelerate ageing. Also called hydrogenated (or partially hydrogenated) oils, trans fats were invented to increase product shelf life. So they really are everywhere! What to do? Read labels. Use alternatives to palm kernel and coconut oils. Exercise, eat a balanced diet, keep regular dental appointments, and keep smiling!
Sometimes it’s what’s hidden that makes all the difference ... even with something as intimately connected with your looks as cosmetic dentistry. It could be superior bonding materials beneath veneers that help them to stay whiter longer, an improved teeth whitening formula, or exquisite craftsmanship using leading-edge labs and technology. And sometimes, it’s revealing what’s hidden that can make your smile more alluring, especially when it’s your beautiful teeth enamel hidden by a too-gummy smile.

Try whitening
They say that “macho” is making a comeback ... in a good way. Modern macho men are still sensitive and caring but they are also very capable men-of-action. These are men who “clean up good” – rather than men who are just good at cleaning up – and who are focused on their appearance. Think George Clooney. Think Matthew McConaughey. For men who don’t want to spend a lot of time with potions and lotions, teeth whitening could hit just the right note for healthy, attractive, and rugged good looks.
Teeth whitening produces the best results when done under a dentist’s supervision
to remove stains and re-charge your smile batteries. And you get to decide whether
to lighten by up to about eight shades, or only a few.
Assert yourself. Smile!
Let us show you whitening that works!
As dental professionals, helping people to look their best brings with it a responsibility to ensure that results are achieved in a safe, reliable, and effective way. It’s remarkable how often we see that safe, simple procedures like the placement of attractive white fillings or supervised at-home teeth whitening can boost a patient’s self-confidence. Why the emphasis on dentist-supervised teeth whitening – even at home? We would say especially at home. There is no single reason for teeth staining. Every smile is unique and every whitening formula is best suited to a particular purpose. We can recommend safe teeth whitening products that over a few days or a few weeks can...
Clean your tongue
Most of us are well versed in the rules of regular brushing: brush often, brush thoroughly, and always complement with a once-a-day flossing. And here’s another rule to add to the list ... brush your tongue. It’s an important part of oral hygiene. Your tongue has little projections that contain our taste sensors. Just like teeth, these tiny taste buds can catch and trap food. If the debris isn’t cleaned out daily with a toothbrush, you can develop something called hairy tongue. If you think that sounds bad, rest assured that the condition actually looks and feels even more unpleasant. Fortunately it’s very simple to avoid.
Add your tongue to your list of things to brush regularly and you can look forward to fresher breath and a truly squeaky-clean mouth.
Treat now. Pay later.
Early treatment is the best way to save on your dental bills. It doesn’t take an accountant to figure out that it’s better to pay a little for early prevention than thousands of dollars for complex repairs later on that may not even save your teeth in the end. It’s a simple rule of thumb: the worse the damage in your mouth the more the trouble for your bank account. And no matter what the health of your bank balance, high-quality dental care can be workable for everyone. Depending on your needs, we can help you put together a deferred payment schedule. Credit cards can also be a useful way to finance dental care. No matter how you look at it, the bottom line looks better the earlier you get treated. So don’t wait ... it will cost you.
